Depending on your arrival and departure point to Koh Phangan Island there are several ways
to get to CUSTOM TATTOO at 'Under Sky' in Thong Nai Pan Yai.

Plane
Koh Phangan is most easily accessed via Koh Samui airport.
Bangkok Airways operates about 20 daily flights between Koh Samui and Bangkok (about 4.000 baht – 80€).
There are more than 10 passenger boats and one car ferry between Koh Samui and Koh Phangan every day.
The trip takes between 30 and 60 minutes.

Train
The night-train from Bangkok to Suratthani (mainland of Thailand) is very recommendable
(about 500 to 1.200 Baht – 10 to 25 € ; should be booked in Bangkok, joint train ferry tickets can be otained).
The 1. and 2. class beds are very clean and with aircon or fan, there is also a restaurant car.

From Suratthani
train station a bus brings you to Donsak pier (about 45 min).
There are 5 car ferries and 5 passenger boats between Suratthani and Koh Phangan per day.
Boats from Suratthani take 2-3 hours. Tickets are available at the piers and at many other tourist centres.

From Thongsala (main port town), the beautiful East-coast is about a 45-minute drive on the jungle road.
Pick-up Taxis and Motorbike Taxis start from the pier, or rent a scooter or larger bike  and upon arrival over the mountains across the centre of Thong Nai Pan Yai and turn left after the Havanna Resort.

From Hadrin (full moon party) - Boat around the beutiful coast or taxi over the mountains.

The Village Thong Nai Pan Yai

Thong Nai Pan Yai is the bigger part of a double crescent bay with the finest white sand and cristal clear water
in the northeast of the island Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Siam.

Until quite recently the village has been an absolute insider’s tip: hardly accessable and beautiful as paradise.
Well off the beaten track, far away from the Full-Moon-Parties in Haad Rin and worlds apart from the overcrowded neighbouring island Koh Samui.

By now the village has grown a lot, the hotels on the beach are preparing for rising visitor numbers and demands.
As a result the infra-structure has been improved a lot: you can receive different mobile-networks and since this year there is a concrete road through the entire village.

In the village you will find internet-cafes, travel agents, several supermarkets and beach-shops, many small bars, restaurants and food-stalls, motorbike-rentals, hair-dressers, manicure and of course Thai-massage: directly on the beach or in a private atmosphere. There is also a diving school and boat/kajak rentals.
